A wonderful week on Gilwern Princess

As first timers to narrowboat holidays, Nigel and Sally were tremendously supportive throughout with their very personal care. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The boat was well equipped with all we needed. The thorough handover was very much appreciated and the instruction manual and canal guide were frequently consulted! It was a perfect week – the weather was dry and warm, the canal was beautiful, the pace of life gentle, pubs excellent, walks had the added interest of learning something of the industrial history of the area. Volunteer lock keepers invaluable. Couldn’t fault anything.
